Cécile has worked as an editor for children’s literature for 10 years before becoming a school teacher in 2013. Passionate about children and their learning styles, she has been trained in different pedagogical approaches (Freinet and Montessori in particular).

She is actively involved in several associations working for educational renewal (such as the Printemps de l’Éducation). She taught French for one year in a Montessori secondary school in Paris area and worked for three years as a school teacher in CM1 (4th grade) and kindergarten levels.

Mother of three children, she spent a year travelling with her family, experiencing informal learning and discovering other pedagogical practices and cultures.
